Westminster Christian Academy was established in 1993 under the name Bay Area Presbyterian School as a ministry of Bay Area Presbyterian Church. The name soon changed to Westminster Academy, and later Westminster Christian Academy, to reflect the school's theological heritage and Christian identity. Classes began with three grades and nine pupils, and from that humble beginning, Westminster Christian Academy has grown into a school of over 200 students with plans to continue expansion.
